ELEMENTARY Support TEACHER

KEY ATTRIBUTES

The Elementary School (K-5) seeks a highly qualified and experienced Support Teacher in the lower grades (1-3). The ideal candidate should be a certified teacher, preferably with previous teaching experience. The candidate should demonstrate highly developed skills for working with the youngest students and enhancing their academic and social/emotional development. He/she should serve as a role model and promote values that encompass safe and supportive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is expected that candidates for this position will be highly qualified educators. Candidates we would consider a good match include:

Education / Certification / Experience:

● Elementary Specialization or BA in teaching English language
● Current educational certification
● Experience working in similar dynamic learning communities

Personal Characteristics:

● Collaborative and flexible
● Possesses enthusiasm and advocacy for student wellbeing
● Displays excellent social skills which enable community-wide collaboration
● Is highly organized, with a minimum of C1 level of English language proficiency
