This is a new opening for a Senior Java Developer on a highly visible, high impact project using state-of-the-art programming, database and load-balancing technology for an international client. This project is scoped out to be a long-term engagement to develop the new generation of the leading product of the client.

Job Description
– Takes part in the designing of the software architecture, development and deployment
– Participation in code review sessions
– Peer review of code modifications and refactoring
– Contacts with the clients for defining functional and technical requirements
– To develop solutions for the problems and afterwards to document them
– Plans, coordinates and performs the daily and project operations assigned by the relevant parties
– To be willing to gain and share new knowledge for high tech and cutting edge technologies
– Follow the standards and procedures in the company
– Flexible work-hours

Desired Candidate Profile:
– 5 to 10 years of working experience in software development
– BS or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems)
– Advanced knowledge of Java development experience with REST/Open API Concepts, REST framework, JSON
– Good knowledge of Linux
– XACML Policy Language, Grails, Camel, Spring, Linux Red Hat, or various third party APIs
– Kafka, Storm and/or Cassandra (required!)
– Ability to estimate level of effort from specifications and work close to estimate
– Excellent knowledge of English language (written and spoken)
– Team player with great communication skills

Desired but not required:
– Integration patterns including ETL/ELT, SOA, and MQ
– One or more directory servers such as Active Directory, IBM Directory Server, Sun Directory Server or Apache Directory Server, including understanding of Enterprise Directory Architecture including directory schema, Resource Provisioning, Role Based Access Control
– Relational databases and associated technologies like SQL and data modeling including large or unstructured data sets
