Allocate Software is a leading international provider of workforce management software. Our application suite helps hundreds of hospitals and healthcare organisations manage and optimise teams of nurses and doctors to improve patient care. We are a global company with 300 employees and offices in the UK, Sweden and Australia.

We are a fast growing technology company and are establishing a new software development centre in Skopje.


Producing software products to a high level of quality is crucial to our success as a company, particularly as our products are used by healthcare organisations. The company has decided to invest significantly in an exciting new Continuous Delivery initiative to improve quality and speed to market of our products.

Within the team, your focus will be to ensure the product meets the needs of the customers and is delivered to high quality. This will include both manual and automation testing.

We are looking for candidates with:
• University Degree in Computer Science or related subject
• At least 2 years of experience in QA
• Certification from ISTQB or similar organisation
• Experience of SCRUM or other agile processes preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

As a Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to develop on the front-end and / or server-side of enterprise N-Tier software systems using JavaScript, MS.NET and C#. Working as part of a team using the SCRUM development process, you will use market leading technologies such as Kendo UI, JQuery and Knockback for the front end and .NET and ORMs on the server-side in an environment that encourages continuous improvement and staff development.

We are looking for candidates with:
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• More than two years’ experience of developing software with the following core skills:

o MS.NET framework using JavaScript, C# and/or VB.NET

o Object Oriented development including software design patterns

 

We have roles for front end and back-end developers with the following skills:

Front-end development	Server-side development
JavaScript, JQuery and UX design	MS MVC and ORM Frameworks
MS MVC or MVVM patterns or equivalent	Experience of test driven and/or behaviour driven development preferred
Experience of developing mobile web user interfaces preferred

• Experience of SCRUM or other agile processes
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
