We use our scientific knowhow to create innovative products that play a crucial part in reducing harmful emissions and improving air quality, helping our customers meet legislative requirements globally.

An exciting opportunity has opened up in Johnson Matthey Procurement Team. This role will supervise and coordinate the procurement activities and processes for Johnson Matthey Macedonia including both direct and indirect spend categories. It will support the local Planning and Procurement Manager as well as the EU Regional Procurement Manager to develop and implement strategic sourcing methodologies. This role will also collaborate with key stakeholders within the business to identify procurement opportunities and ensure compliance to related policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities:
Supervise the Johnson Matthey Macedonia Procurement Team, ensure ali reports perform efficiently and in accordance with agreed and clearly define objectives.

Support the Johnson Matthey Divisional Procurement Function to meet all targets and objectives set by the Emission Control Technologies Leadership Team.

Ensure procurement compliance with all governmental, regulatory, and company procedures and policies.

Ensure efficient sourcing of all goods and services for Johnson Matthey Macedonia in line with departmental procedures, e. g. order approval, supplier approval, invoicing queries and spend analysis.

Negotiate terms of business, competitive pricing, service level agreements, NDA' s, maintenance and purchase contracts as required, either on site or at a supplier premises in conjunction with Johnson Matthey Group Legal.

Review supplier contracts, liaise with Johnson Matthey Group Legal and negotiate with suppliers to ensure Johnson Matthey maintain the strongest legal position possible

Are you the ideal candidate?

Do you have a degree and or have relevant experience working in a similar role?
Are you Procurement qualified or working towards qualification?
Are you able to demonstrate supervisory skills?
Ability to demonstrable IT skills using relevant Procurement systems as well as Microsoft Office?
Ability to conduct root cause analyses and identify continuous improvement opportunities?
Show awareness of current developments and trends in area of expertise?
Strong command of English language both written and verbal and питегасу skills?
