Job Summary
Join Ecomwise as a Front End Web Developer to help our clients promote their business ideas! This role will drive the front end implementation, ensure code quality and maintenance of Ecomwise's solutions. The candidate must possess excellent technical skills with ambition to master the front-end engineering, be a pro-active solution-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex front end problems
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable Magento themes
- Support production systems
- Provide accurate time estimations on present issues
Key Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in building web applications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience coding in PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Deep understanding of front end engineering principles and experience with front end technologies and frameworks
- Is expert in HTML5 and CSS and is fluent with Responsive Design implementation
- Good understanding of PHP
- Experience in AJAX, XML, JSON
- Experience with JS Libraries (jQuery)
- Experience with LESS and RequireJS is nice to have
- Experience with Magento C.E. 1.x or Magento C.E 2.x is nice to have
- Good knowledge of Linux CLI
- Magento C.E 1.x and 2.x experience is good to have
- Ability to support multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Keen eye for detail to deliver world class web experiences
- Must be able to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management
Education
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of industry experience or 7+ years of equivalent industry experience with a proven track record of development.
