DESCRIPTION

The Dyalog APL Problem Solving Competition offers you the chance to compete for up to $2,500, plus a free trip to Denmark! The competition is open to students and professionals around the world. Are you new to APL or coding in general? No need to worry! With free APL learning resources available on the competition website, you don’t have to be a coding expert to win.

Details:

The competition is split into two phases. In Phase I, you must complete 10 APL challenges where you solve a problem with a single line of APL code.  Phase II, which will be released during the summer, asks you to write a set of APL code to solve a more complex case challenge in one of three areas:

Healthcare
Mathematics/Statistics
Computational Geometry/General Computing.

Students can compete for one of several cash prizes worth up to $2,500. First place will also win a trip to Denmark for the annual Dyalog user meeting, including registration and accommodation for the event.

Non-students are also welcome to compete. The top scoring non-student will win an invitation to the annual Dyalog user meeting in Denmark, including free registration and complimentary accommodation.
