- The aim of the scholarships is to develop the education of students and to enhance the economic, social and cultural life of region.
- Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology is a third level institute of education and is based at five locations in the west of Ireland.
Course Level: These scholarships are available to pursue postgraduate research degree.
Study Subject: These scholarships are awarded in any discipline offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: These scholarships will cover the followings:
- A student stipend (usually tax-exempt) valued at €18,000 paid over 18 months 1
- A waiver of postgraduate registration fees 2
- Limited support for travel and consumables (€1,800 in total).
Numbers of Scholarships: Up to six scholarships are available.
Eligibility: All qualified student candidates, including EU and non-EU candidates, may apply.
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have graduate degree.
