Node.js Developer

Amerbank is a fast growing US-based fintech company providing efficient compliance-centric international transfers, trade services & financing to global merchants, financial institutions, corporates & families worldwide.

We are currently looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our tech savvy team and help us build trust & efficiency in global payments and lending. You will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key responsibilities

Provide architectural expertise, hands-on advanced system development and integration expertise to provide enterprise solutions using node.js, seneca.js, hapi.js, web services, micro-services, and infrastructure as a code;
Writing reusable, testable and efficient code;
Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability and performant applications;
Implementation of security and data protection;
Integration of data storage solutions.

Position Requirements

Strong proficiency with JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript;
Knowledge of Node.js and available frameworks (express.js, seneca.js, hapi.js);
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds;
Understanding accessibility and security compliance;
Understanding of front-end technologies like Angular 4, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS would be considered an advantage.
