Clean Air Division supplies one third of all catalysts fitted to cars around the world and is a leading producer of catalysts for trucks and buses too. We are now seeking a strong and pro-active Warehouse Supervisor to join our Logistics team, to manage and organise an effective and accurate execution of the Logistics systems in JM Macedonia.
Key responsibilities
• Ensuring that the operating practices within the Warehouse are safe and confirmed with EHS best practices, including licences and training, with no risk to either operator or visitors. Oversee strict adherence to all safety measures.
• Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
• Ensure that forklifts are regularly serviced and well maintained. All issues timely addressed to authorized servicing company.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget related needs.
• Holding the ultimate responsibility for all operations within the Warehouse, including material damage, inventory accuracy, recycling of scrap material, aged and obsolete stock, FIFO and material availability
• Ensuring that the import and export system are efficiently managed, with all paperwork conforming to customs and commercial system requirements
• Ensuring all contractor activity within the Warehouse is carried out under appropriate supervision
• Accountability for the logistics-related storage activities within the IBC farm and liquid chemical store
• Ensuring cycle counts and stock takes are carried out as required and that inventory discrepancies are addressed and rectified in a timely manner
• Planning and organising of daily output needs and requirements.
• Control to ensure full operational capacity and achieve daily targets.
Are you the ideal candidate?
• Degree or professional qualification and minimum of 3 years’ experience in a logistics or supply-related environment.
• Experience in the operation of moving equipment and working in material handling environments.
• Experience in stock control and material accountability.
• SAP skills and knowledge would be an advantage
• Demonstrable problem solving and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communications skills as well as critical thinking, coordination and problem-solving.
• Ability to work to deadlines, ensuring that the work is completed to meet the business requirements and delays are effectively communicated. Planning and organising skills.
• Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills (ability to collaborate with a multi department team)
• Delegating responsibilities and gaining commitment.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:30h till 16:30h
