Senior system engineer (1 position) - Responsible for implementing and maintaining computer systems for businesses. The work includes implementing new systems and ensuring optimal performance.
Senior system engineer
Key responsibilities:
o Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
o Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure
o Server related technologies: Windows Server, Linux (preferable) and SQL technology
o Virtualization technologies: Microsoft Hyper-V
o Remote access solution support: VPN
o Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications
o Backup strategy for critical services
o Database warehouse and reporting knowledge
Requirements:
o Several years of working experience in the field
o Strong communicational skills both written and verbal (both in Macedonian and English)
o Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
o Ability to collaborate with Cluster and Corporate IT teams to assure implementation of centrally managed solutions
o Strategic thinking
o BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
o Certificates from non-formal education courses will be considered an advantage
