In your first year in this role you will participate in IT audit assurance and advisory engagements for large international and local clients and will build strong professional knowledge through:
• Gaining a wide range of industry-specific and information systems knowledge;
• Testing and evaluation of IT controls in the areas of governance, system development & change management, cyber security and IT operations in accordance with the established IT audit methodology, industry standards and best practices;
• Assisting the audit team in identification and evaluation of business, technology and regulatory risks and controls;
• Suggesting process / control improvements related to the IT and business environment that providing management with insight to best practices and opportunities for enhanced efficiencies;
• Providing support to the audit teams for data acquisition and extraction from clients’ ERP and accounting systems;
• Processing complex data sets from a variety of financial systems across various business areas and assisting in accounting and financial data analyses;
• Developing strong relationships with the audit teams and audit clients.
To be up to the challenge you should preferably have:
• University degree in the area of Information Technology, Finance, Audit, Business Administration or a related discipline;
• Strong interest in analyzing information systems design and operation, as well as complex data sets;
• Self-motivation and desire to learn and develop;
• Working level of written and verbal communication skills in English.
