Job Position: Junior Quality Assurance Tester
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our growing team of highly-skilled technology professionals. We are experiencing exponential growth, so our work environment is fast-moving and intense, but balanced by a fun, friendly and informal atmosphere.
You will work on performing QA-activities on our own in-house product called Sales.Rocks. Sales.Rocks is a Dutch sales enable platform that gives the B2B-world access to 200+ million company&contact details, a state of the art drip campaign/outreach email using email and LinkedIn automation, AI-aspects, unique personalised video and image content and much more.
As a software tester, you will use manual testing to exercise the functionality of our systems and ensure overall software quality. A great learning experience for an entry-level QA Engineer.
What You’ll Do
● Run manual tests.
● Develop and document testing methods, aligned with industry best practices.
● Ensure proper issue tracking and stability oversight of the projects.
● Create stability and functionality reports of the projects.
● Implement adequate testing practices, testing tools & testing strategies.
The ideal candidate must exhibit the following:
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
● Ability to understand acceptance criteria of features and test results
● Ability to perform exploratory testing
● Ability to evaluate software risks and impediments
● Ability to collaborate well with developers and designers
● White Box and Black Box understanding
● Knowledge of the software testing lifecycle
● Experience in working with Agile methodologies
● Detail-oriented mind
● Skilled at delivering detail-driven documentation
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities
● Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
● Flexibility and positive attitude
● Thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere where open communication is expected
