KEY ATTRIBUTES

The EEC seeks a highly qualified and experienced PE and Dance Teacher in the grades Pre-K through Grade 1. The ideal candidate should be a certified teacher, preferably with previous teaching experience. The candidate should demonstrate highly developed skills for working with the youngest and enhancing their academic and social/emotional development. He/she should understand the development potential of the students aged 3-6 and serve as a role model through promoting values that encompass safe and supportive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is expected that candidates for this position will be highly qualified educators. Candidates we would consider a good match include:

Education / Certification / Experience:

● Degree in relevant field
● Current educational certification
● Previous experience as a PE teacher and/or Dance trainer/teacher
● Experience in working with the age group 3-6 years old
● Experience working in similar dynamic learning communities

Personal Characteristics:

● Collaborative and flexible
● Possesses enthusiasm and advocacy for student wellbeing
● Displays excellent social skills which enable community-wide collaboration
● Is highly organized
● Has minimum of C1 level of English language proficiency
