Job Position: Junior Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our growing team of highly-skilled technology professionals.

As a software tester, you will use manual and automatic testing to exercise the functionality of our systems and ensure overall software quality. This opportunity is great for an entry-level QA Engineer.

What You’ll Do
•    Run manual tests.
•    Develop and document testing methods, aligned with industry best practices.
•    Ensure proper issue tracking and stability oversight of the projects.
•    Create stability and functionality reports of the projects.
•    Implement adequate testing practices, testing tools & testing strategies.
•    Write automatic tests ( optional )


The ideal candidate must exhibit the following:
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
•    Ability to understand acceptance criteria of features and test results
•    Ability to perform exploratory testing
•    Ability to evaluate software risks and impediments
•    Ability to collaborate well with developers and designers
•    White Box and Black Box understanding
•    Knowledge of the software testing lifecycle
•    Experience in working with Agile methodologies;
•    Detail-oriented mind
•    Skilled at delivering detail-driven documentation
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities
•    Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
•    Flexibility and positive attitude
•    Thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere where open communication is expected
•    Flourish in small company environment where hard work and levity are equally valued

What You Have
•    Hands-on experience in:
o    Finding bugs and defects
o    Creating test cases
o    Documenting software flaws and unexpected behaviors
o    Verifying fixes
o    Analyzing test results and communicating with other teams to resolve software defects
