Production Manager - New Plant in Macedonia!
Job description
Lear has an opportunity for a proven Production Manager, who is
accomplished at working in an international and fast growing
environment. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager you’ll enjoy
managing people, developing current quality tools and continuous
improvement, planning and organizing the daily performance of quality
area in line with Lear’s global strategy. It goes without saying you’ll
have strong manufacturing acumen, be goal orientated, enjoy changes and
production analysis. The unique role is based in Gostivar in Republic of
Macedonia for our new TRIM operational plant.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensures customers’ needs are met in terms of quality, quantity, times and efficiency
Implement, update and keep operational, all production work
instructions, trains and certifies your team and any other involved
positions in its correct application
Analyzing of defects and implementing retaliatory action in terms of internal quality of production
Developing production measurements and prevention systems in the production processes
Demonstration of potential cost reduction
Participates in Staff Meetings, such as Daily Metrics and Production floor walk
Establishes and keeps in operation, Safety and Health and waste management rules and procedures
Closely follow the successful implementation of the new projects
(improve the collaboration with the subcontractors and/or to improve the
financial results of the plant).
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful you’ll need:
A track record of success working in production companies with a strong
background in manufacturing area. In your previous roles, you will have
successfully driven and lead a Production Department. You ideally will
have a minimum of 3 years running a function. You’ll need to be
interpersonally strong, PC literate and able to analyze data.
Communicative in English and Macedonian is required.
Ideally you’ll have a University degree in Technical field and have a good working knowledge of: LEAN, FMEA.
