Full-stack Developer (Senior & Junior)

oneUp, a Dutch software development company, together with BizzBee Solutions, as Macedonian partner, are growing its software development team in Macedonia. oneUp works on the latest technologies (amongst others: blockchain technology and machine learning). We are looking for people that can fill in multiple junior and senior positions in Macedonia.

The new team will receive on-job training on blockchain technology (from our Dutch CTO). As a blockchain application developer you will dive deep into the technical possibilities and challenges of blockchain technology. Together with the team you will design, develop and test ways of utilizing the power of blockchain technology.

● Understanding of multiple programming languages and paradigms, able to quickly learn new ones
● Frontend capabilities for application interface (HTML/CSS3)
● Strong NodeJS / Javascript skills
● Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Meteor, React and/or Angular
● Backend experience with databases; NoSQL, DHT, MongoDB, Key-value stores
● Familiar with Networking patterns: message queues, pubsub, API design & usage; REST + JSON
● Using Unit testing, continuous integration
● Linux or OSX (recommended), no Windows.
● Good English.

Desired
● Cryptographic understanding (public/private key, hashing)
● Experience with blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum) is a plus
● Essential DevOps skills (unix & cloud) & experience with development / deployment tools
● GitHub profile with demonstrable portfolio

Non-Technical skills
● Agile methodology: scrum / kanban
● Familiar with open source software development, projects and teams
● Self-educational / eager to learn / not afraid to ask questions
● Able to work with remote teams / strong communication skills
